“I painted this watercolor about two years ago, just about a week before my fiancé and I went on our first date. I wasn’t in a great headspace at the time and this was the first art piece i had worked on in quite a while. When I sent him a picture of it, nervous about what his reaction would be, he responded so positively to it, it made me feel excited about my art again, something I had not felt in a long time.

Now when I look at this piece, it reminds me that good things find a way. No matter where you are in life, you will get to where you need to be for yourself, you will find your purpose, but you have to find yourself and your people first, and you must never settle for anything less. Happiness starts with yourself, but is a fragile entity that must be nourished. When it feels nourished, it has room to spread.” - Anonymous
