Whether working to support a war effort or to counteract the impact of a global pandemic, communities come together for food security. At Clock Barn, Brian Hone + Studio worked with a private client to develop an exhibition that connected gardeners of the past to the gardens and gardeners of the present.

Throughout this exhibition, visitors could view propaganda posters from the Wilson and Roosevelt administrations used to encourage action and to address critical food needs at home, learn more about the darker side of the effects of war, and explore a rendition of a typical 1940s kitchen that highlighted importance of canning and garden-related tools needed in this endeavor.
