”I created this painting, which incorporates acrylic paint and collage to express the vibrant and rich textures I found during my two-week trips to Chile with a graduate school landscape architecture studio. I’ve got paintings and drawings stacked up in my apartment, but in the ten apartments I’ve lived in, hanging this one up has always been a priority. It’s a reminder I need to shut off certain parts my brain sometimes to make great art.” - Emily
